Website design and branding for Hamilton based charity, South Lanarkshire Carers Network
We’ve been very lucky to work with the lovely team at South Lanarkshire Carers Network for the past couple of years. Based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire Carers Network (SLCN) was formed in 1998 by Unpaid Carers to promote their interests in South Lanarkshire.
They work as a signposting service for Unpaid Carers throughout South Lanarkshire. They work to empower Carers with knowledge and information that will allow them to make informed choices about available known services.
We were initially asked to build a new website for the organisation but through this process we ended up updating their logo, building a multilingual website, producing information leaflets (including their annual report), giving team members social media training and video blog training. We are very proud to be working with SLCN and the amazing work they do!
Client feedback on website design project…
Joyce Brownlie, SLCN’s Administration Information Coordinator commented:
“Gerry from Contribute had met with us initially to get an idea of what we were looking for and he spent a great deal of time getting to know our organisation, asking what we do for Carers and how we communicate different sorts of information to our different target audiences. We initially asked him to work on a new website but through the project, Gerry also updated our logo and gave us a fresh, vibrant look. We spoke about what we wanted our website to look like and what we wanted it to do. After a couple of meetings, Gerry came back with a full coloured storyboard to show all our staff, which we loved straight away.”
“Gerry has worked with our organisation for more than two years now and has always been very professional throughout. As well as his work on the website he has also trained some of our staff on social media and video blogging etc.”
“He has a very calming and pleasant manner when training staff and has always been very helpful. He’s a great guy to know!”
