Fair Deal

Fair Deal are a social enterprise company providing assistance and support for people with learning disabilities, older people, and young people. Based in Castlemilk in Glasgow, they work alongside people who use their support, to enable them to have the kind of life they want. Fair Deal offers a range of activities and support options for people who may wish to use their individual budget to buy what they need from Fair Deal.

Capturing the story of Fair Deal

We have worked with Fair Deal on a number of projects. Our working relationship started when we were asked to design a range of leaflets for them. This quickly saw us not only designing the leaflets but also organising photography for their Social and Leisure programme and their ‘Help Yourself Grow’ project. The Help Yourself Grow programme is designed to improve the knowledge, skills and confidence of the participants, and hopefully present new opportunities for those involved including further training, volunteering, employment or social enterprise opportunities.

We joined in with the events to ensure we got nice and relaxed pictures. We also shot footage that led us to produce short ‘explainer’ videos for their social media channels, and we also produced a suite of leaflets that reinforced their brand and spoke directly to their target audience.

Being able to capture the work of Fair Deal, and the positive impact they make on the lives of the people they work for, really was a joy to be part of. We love capturing an organisations story and telling people about the great work organisations, such as Fair Deal, do on a daily basis.
