It’s been 6 months since we moved to Glasgow city centre. Time has flown by. It’s been a busy, but great 6 months.

The move to Glasgow had been on the cards for some time. After spending a year in Thornliebank, then a year and a half in East Kilbride on the outskirts of Glasgow, we had to think about the shape of the business in the next 5-10 years, what clients we want to work with, where they are and what they would expect from a design agency! We looked at several places but in the end, opted to work in The Pentagon Centre in Washington Street.

Glasgow office… best decision

Looking back on the past 6 months I can honestly say that it’s been one of the best decisions we have made. The centre has recently undergone extensive renovations so it offers a really cool and laid-back atmosphere, and its a place we feel happy to ask clients to attend meetings in. The staff have been exceptionally friendly, always eager to help and they really try to foster a community atmosphere. On top of that, we’ve met so many interesting business professionals who are passionate about what they do.

The only drawback I can think of is that if you decide to bring your car into a city centre then you’re going to pay a bit extra for the parking, however, where the centre is situated there are at least three car packs all offering very reasonable car parking fees and it’s also sandwiched in-between two large train stations (we’re a fan of using public transport).

The pros far outweigh the cons. We’re closer to a lot of clients so it’s easier to be more responsive whilst working on projects, we’re more visible in the business and creative communities and it’s a really cool place to work in… it’s been a bit of a no brainer really!

As the song goes… I belong to Glasgow!
